The Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array is an imaging hard X-ray telescope, proposed for launch as early as 2007, with sensitivity that will far surpass previous missions in the 8-80 keV band. In addition to its core science program, NuSTAR will offer opportunities for a broad range of science investigations, with priorities established through community peer review. Here we describe some of the opportunities that could be pursued in the study of galactic compact objects, supernovae, gamma ray bursts, galaxy clusters, and other areas.
