The Cosmic Vision Programme of ESA in Cosmology and Fundamental Physics

Understanding the Laws of Physics ruling our Universe is one of the main objectives of the Cosmic Vision programme of the European Space Agency. The status of the planning in the Science Programme of ESA for the next decade is presented as well as the process to unveil the activities for the following one. In addition the scientific objectives and the status of the different missions in the areas of cosmology, high-energy astrophysics and fundamental physics in which the science programme of ESA is involved are briefly reviewed.
