Abstract:  Both the NREL and PNNL Web sites (aka the mothership sites) are managed by a single person, hosted on a central server, and maintained by a central Web Team.  Although many NREL and PNNL subsites are developed by the central team, many subsites are developed by individual authors throughout the lab.

How have we worked with those individual authors? How can we maintain the integrity of the mothership site while allowing individual authors to have flexibility and control?

Over the years we've developed a process and quality control standards when working with the individual authors. We'll present those along with some of our successes and lessons learned.
