Next Linear Collider Conventional Facilities Web Based Integration

Speaker:  Clay Corvin
Organization: Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC)
Abstract:  The Next Linear Collider is a very large project now in its pre-conceptual phase.  It is a collaborative effort across several laboratories world-wide.

Integration of the project for its conventional facilities component is accomplished in part by using the World Wide Web.  A wide assortment of information is routinely posted and refreshed to allow the collaboration equal real-time access to the scope, cost and schedule of the conventional facilities portion of the project. This includes conceptual designs and graphics. The most common formats are supported and tested with the most common browsers and platforms.

The goal is to make the conventional facilities web content as visible and accessible as possible, especially to the NLC collaborating laboratories.
