An annual performance self assessment is required by all DOE
contractors. The form of this self assessment at SLAC is to prepare a report of
activities in each functional area and to evaluate the Laboratory's performance with
respect to "performance measures" mutually agreed upon by SLAC and the Oakland
DOE Field Office. One of SLAC's performance measures in the Information Management
area is the way in which the "Laboratory manages information as a corporate resource
to improve the quality of its products, to add value to scientific programs and customer
services" as reflected in the information in the SLAC World Wide Web.
The data in the charts demonstrate the breadth of availability of data and dynamic changes
in access and usage during FY99. |
