This talk will address the issues of the safety of visitors to your home institutes or facilties and the safety or your own employees who go to other laboratories etc. in your own country or overseas. It will address issues such as cumulative radiation doses, exposure to hazardous materials, training etc. It will also address the possible consequences of getting it wrong, the legal issues of compensation and enforcement action imposedon your facility such as closure.
