Workshop Goal

The goal is to facilitate university community involvement in LC detector and accelerator R&D. This workshop is aimed at those who missed previous meetings at FNAL and Cornell and will build on the work already done there. In particular we will:

1. Discuss how to organize this effort on a national (and international) level.
2. Provide lists and descriptions of concrete issues that need development work. These lists will be made in advance and presented at the meeting. They will be an evolution of the lists developed for similar workshops recently held at FNAL and Cornell.
3. Create the necessary communication links and groups to facilitate the writing of proposals and starting of R&D efforts.
4. Make plans for a follow-up meeting.
