Payment Options

  Paying in advance for your registration and meals will save you time during registration.  Payment will accepted up to the first day of the Summer Institute (August 13, 2001).  You may pay by check (drawn on a US bank), traveler’s check or credit card.

SECURE Credit Card Payment

  We accept VISA and MasterCard credit cards at this time. To pay by credit card you will be directed to a secure (https) order form managed by eCommerce@Stanford and VeriSign Corporation (www.verisign.com). The secure payment form for SLAC sponsored conferences and events will display “Stanford Linear Accelerator Conference Registration” at the top. The “Description” area will include exactly what you have selected from this page.  The amount will be the total amount when quantity is greater than one.  A payment can be made for more than one REGISTERED conference attendee.  Upon check in to the conference, proof of payment or payment will be required.  Persons paying for multiple persons will be asked to check in with the entire party so that conference check in proceeds as smoothly as possible.  Paying by credit card in advance will really speed up conference check in.

Payment 

  Once you have entered all the credit card information, you will be asked to confirm the purchase, if you do AUTHORIZATION will be requested from the financial network.  If approval is forthcoming, a receipt page will be displayed and you will receive an email.  Do make sure that your email address is entered correctly.

Receipts contain the 12 character transaction ID

  The Displayed Receipt page will appear AFTER credit car payment has been authorized. The email receipt will be sent AFTER credit card payment has been authorized.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel, the transaction ID (12 characters) will be needed to credit your account.

 We can do a partial credit, should you pay for more than one person and someone has to cancel.
