AbstractUsing resonant inelastic x-ray scattering (RIXS), we have studied the thermal driven phase transition in RbMnFe(CN)6 with manganese 1s3p x-ray emission spectroscopy. We have applied theoretical tools including charge transfer multiplet calculations as well as the density matrix description developed for optical resonance Raman spectroscopy. The latter theory allowed us to extract dephasing dynamics from the relative intensities of the coherent and incoherent scattering which we compare to the rates found in iron (III) complexes.
