XLDB events are uniquely targeted gatherings that discuss the real-world challenges, practical considerations, and nuts-and-bolts solutions in the realm of managing and analyzing extreme scale data sets. Attendees include Big Data users from industry / science / government, developers, researchers, and providers.

This year, special consideration will be given to:

  • real-time analytics
  • decoupling compute from storage
  • big data management and analytics as a cloud service
  • security in big data systems
  • long term storage
  • late bindings
For this year's event, we are especially coordinating with NITRD Big Data Senior Steering Group to encourage participation by the government Big Data community.
