High energy polarization of Blazar Jets

Polarization has been considered for a long time a distinctive feature of blazars. I will consider the prospects of detection of polarization in blazars at high energy, focusing on the dependence on the emission mechanism. I will discuss what polarization can tell us on the jet geometry and emission mechanism along the blazar sequence.
