A very efficient method for measuring the soft X-ray polarizations of astronomical objects involves the use of multilayer coated optics at graze angles near 45 degrees. Multilayer coatings provide high reflectivity and bandpass selection, so a simple telescope can be designed to obtain polarizations near 0.25 keV in a small space instrument package. Laboratory measurements prove the basic capabilities of such a system.
