ATLAS Western Tier 2 Users Forum

Monday and Tuesday, April 6-7, 2009
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory
Menlo Park, California
Venue: Kavli Auditorium

SLAC will host a two-day meeting which brings together users and potential future users of the WT2 analysis resources. We aim to help new users get up to speed by learning from more experienced users and SLAC computing staff, And at the same time we hope to learn what is needed to make the Tier 2 easier to use. We will also begin a Western Community process aimed at determining what types of computing are going to be needed for competitive physics analysis and detector studies, and how well these map on to the Tier 2 and Tier 3 resources currently planned.

The tentative agenda includes presentations in the mornings followed by working time in the afternoons. Although there will be some focus on the concerns of the Western ATLAS community, anyone from US ATLAS is welcome to participate. We look forward to seeing you here!
