There will be a Reception and Poster Session on Sunday, March 4, 2012, immediately after the plenary session ends around 5:30pm. The location is the breezeway between Panofsky Auditorium and the SLAC Cafeteria (Bldg. 42 & 43). Easels with poster boards and push pins will be set up but space will not be pre-assigned. If you plan to present a poster please send an email to the conference organizer with your name and the title of the poster so that adequate space and materials are available. DOE regulations require a separate fee for the reception. Please indicate your attendance on the registration page.
The restaurant will be offering a three course meal with a choice of two appetizers, four entrees, and two desserts. Coffee or tea will be served. The $50 price includes up to two glasses of the house red or white wines or soft drinks and tax/tip.
Parking lots are located between Santa Cruz and Middle Avenue just west of El Camino. You may be interested in the British Bankers Club, Oak City Bar & Grill, or Cafe Borrone & Kepler's Bookstore for pre or post dinner amusement.
